Vecchio esperimento!/ Old Experiment!

Ciao a tutti! È passato un po' di tempo dall'ultima volta che ho postato qualcosa, ma sono stata un po' indaffarata con un nuovo progetto che a breve vi presenterò. Non vedo l'ora!
Questa volta voglio condividere con voi un'illustrazione più vecchia, un esperimento giusto per giocare! Ne ho altri 3 che vi farò vedere prossimamente !
Intanto ecco il primo:


Hi everyone! It's been a little 'time since I posted something, but I was a bit' busy with a new project that I will to you introduce shortly. I can't wait for it!
This time I want to share with you an older illustration , an experiment just for fun! I have another 3 like this that I'll show you soon! Meanwhile, here is the first:

Guardando bene, con occhio critico, le illustrazioni che ho fatto finora( sia quelle poche pubblicate che molte altre che non ho pubblicato), ho capito delle cose fondamentali.

Prima constatazione ( positiva) : mi piacciono tantissimo i colori che uso.

Seconda constatazione (positiva) : mi piacciono tantissimo i soggetti che ho scelto.

Terza constatazione ( critica) : non mi piace molto lo stile esecutivo. Cioè lo trovo un po' impersonale o comunque non mi ci trovo molto.

Quarta constatazione (critica) : rivolta allo stile, guardando le mie illustrazioni e comparandole con quelle di illustratori professionisti, manca una cosa fondamentale: l'impronta e la coerenza stilistica. Ad impatto visivo credo che non abbiano quel tratto distintivo che ti fa dire " oh, quest'immagini sono dello stesso disegnatore!"

Quinta constatazione (critica) : sono poco dinamiche. Quando guardo un'illustrazione quello che mi colpisce maggiormente sono, primo, i colori e secondo, il dinamismo con il quale comunica qualcosa nonostante sia bloccata sulla carta.

Ordunque la conclusione è che per ora ho molto da lavorare considerando che stiamo a 3 -2 per il " non mi piace" e il mio obbiettivo è di 0-5, dove 5 è positivo.
Cosi ho tirato fuori alcuni disegni di quando ero alle superiori ( non mi convincono molto perché troppo stile manga e io mi ci voglio allontanare) e altri esempi di gente in gamba. Ho preso carta e matita e studiandoli un po' ecco cos'è venuto fuori:
P.S Lo so che qualcuno potrebbe pensare che sarebbe stato più facile con il manichino di legno, ma devo ammettere che la mia visione dello spazio sia alquanto scarsa, quindi devo compensare razionalizzando il tutto.
P.S.2 Queste sono esercitazioni su un personaggio del mio libro "Arcobaleno Nero" , "Sola Bambina".


Giving look with a critical eye, the illustrations that I have done so far (and those few I published and many others that I have not posted), I understood somme basics things.

First observation (positive): I really like the colors I use.

Second observation (positive): I really like the subjects I have chosen.

Third observation (critical): I don't really like the executive style . I find it a bit banal.

Fourth observation (critical) : staying focused on the style, looking at my pictures and comparing them with those of professional illustrators, It's missing something fundamental: The fingerprint and the stylistic coherency. I think mine illustrations haven't got that visual impact that makes you say "oh, these images are of the same designer!"

Fifth observation (critical) : are not very dynamic. When I look at a picture what impresses me the most are, first, the colors and second, the dynamism with which it communicates something despite being locked on paper.


So the conclusion is that for now I have a lot of work considering that we are at 3 -2 for "do not like" and my goal is 0-5, where 5 is positive.
So I pulled out some drawings when I was in high school (do not convince me too much because they are manga stile and I want to remove that print) and other examples . I took a pencil and paper and studying a bit 'that's what came out:

PS. I know that someone might think that it would be easier sketcing with a wood dummy, but I have to admit that my vision of space is rather low, so I have to compensate it rationalizing everything.

Condividere la passione : Gaudì/ Share the passion: Gaudì

Inizierò questo ciclo di post con l'artista ( architetto) che io amo in assoluto: Gaudì.
I will begin this series of posts with the artist (architect) that I love the most: Gaudì.

Non ho intenzione di angosciarvi con notizie storiche o cose del genere, anche perchè sono facilmente reperibili online, per chi volesse.

Invece voglio dire perchè amo cosi tanto questo personaggio catalano.

Gaudì attraverso la sua arte riesce ad aprire le porte a un mondo Fantastico, dove tutto è possibile e dove anche la creatura più grottesca è coperta di polvere di fata diventando cosi preziosa e bella.

Basta dare un'occhiata a Casa Batllò, ribattezzata " casa delle ossa" che in un normale contesto risulterebbe scabrosa, ma grazie alla mano di questo visionario architetto diventa semplicemente una meraviglia uscita da una favola. È sottilmente ambigua. Nonostante le ossa sono ben riconoscibili, è un apoteosi cromatica che con la luce risplende di mille colori.

Ovviamente questa magia viene creata in modo sapiente, grazie al suo collaboratore Jujol che riveste la facciata con un mosaico di circa duecento dischi di pasta vitrea di diversi colori, dimensioni e spessori. Questo fa si che a seconda dell'incidenza della luce si accenda di una moltitudine di
impressioni cangianti.

I will not distress you with historical or anything like that, because they are also readily available online, if you want.

Instead I want to say because I love so much this Catalan artist.

Gaudi through his art, opened the door to a Fantastic world,  where everything is possible and where even the most grotesque creature is covered with fairy dust and becomes so precious and beautiful.

Just take a look at Casa Batllo,  nicknamed "house of bones" that in a normal environment would be thorny , but thanks to the hand of this visionary architect becomes a marvel took out of a fairy tale.

It is subtly ambiguous. Although the bones are easily recognizable, is a  chromatic
apotheosis  that shines with the light of a thousand colors.

Of course, this magic is created in a wise way, thanks to his collaborator Jujol that covers the front with a mosaic of about two hundred discs of glass paste of different colors, sizes and thicknesses.

This means that depending on the incidence of light it turns on a multitude of irridescent impressions.

So this is the building that I love more, I suggest you also take a look at Park Güell.

It is the entrance to the Rabbit Hole that will take you straight in Wonderland where shapes and colors merge and intertwine enveloping you in the world of dreams and fairy tale. Obviously his work is very wide and we would have to write an essay, but the absolute thing I wanted to emphasize is  that his skill and mastery of techniques and instruments (obviously had crews) with his vivid imagination as well as his courage in experimenting and bring things out of the ordinary has made him the architect of dreams.

Dunque questo è l'edifico che io adoro di più, vi consiglio di dare un'occhiata anche a Park Güell. È l'ingresso per la tana del coniglio che vi porterá dritti nel paese delle meraviglie, dove forme e colori si amalgamano e si intrecciano avvolgendovi in quel mondo da sogno e favola. 

Ovviamente la sua opera è molto vasta e ci sarebbe da scrivere un saggio, ma la cosa in assoluto che volevo sottolineare è che la sua mestria e padronanza di tecniche e strumenti ( ovviamente aveva squadre di operai) insieme alla sua fervida immaginazione nonchè al suo coraggio nello sperimentare e proporre cose fuori dal comune lo ha reso architetto di sogni raggiungibili.

Nuovo Blog! / New blog!

Mi sono resa conto che il blog CioccoCata stava diventando troppo pasticcione, cosi ho deciso di dividere le mie passioni e di aprire un nuovo blog che dedicherò interamente al mondo dell'illustrazione e dell'arte.
Su CioccoCata continuerò a postare i miei esperimenti soprattutto quelli culinari.
Speriamo che questo nuovo blog sia nato sotto una stella fortunata!
Buon inizio a me, e buon divertimento a voi!
